In 2002, we fell in love with Alaska and purchased property near Fairbanks. Our Alaska log home was built in 2003 by Bill Kisken of Log Weavers here in Fairbanks. Bill is an artist, who uses the hand scribed Swedish cope system. Notice how tightly the logs fit at the ends, this is very diffucult to achieve. We retired in 2013, and moved our residence to Alaska.

Argentine Tango

Robert Farris Thompson in his history of tango talks about tango as music, poetry, and dance. Carlos Gardel (photo at right) is the most famous singer of tango music. Astor Piazolla is the most famous composer and bandoneon musician of tango. Although we are beginners, Cathy and I have been fortunate to study under such world-renowned instructors as Nelson & Madalyn Avila, Alberto Paz & Valerie Hart, Muguel Zotto and Facundo & Kely Posadas.
