In 2002, we fell in love with Alaska and purchased property near Fairbanks. Our Alaska log home was built in 2003 by Bill Kisken of Log Weavers here in Fairbanks. Bill is an artist, who uses the hand scribed Swedish cope system. Notice how tightly the logs fit at the ends, this is very diffucult to achieve. We retired in 2013, and moved our residence to Alaska.
Sesquipedalophobia (Kissed by a Moose)
Apparently Sesquipedalophobia is the fear of long words. This must be a cruel joke on those looking up their illness. From Twitter @xoix @27bslash6 Think of it as being kissed by a moose. My sister sent me this picture and the account: Kissed by a wild Canadian Moose PETE is standing on his back deck which is about two feet off of the ground, and he is about six one and 250 lbs so she ( the moose )is a fair sized critter.This picture was taken near Sudbury , ON, Canada:
