In 2002, we fell in love with Alaska and purchased property near Fairbanks. Our Alaska log home was built in 2003 by Bill Kisken of Log Weavers here in Fairbanks. Bill is an artist, who uses the hand scribed Swedish cope system. Notice how tightly the logs fit at the ends, this is very diffucult to achieve. We retired in 2013, and moved our residence to Alaska.

Victory for the Albatross!

Congratulations to our Argentine tango friend Karl Jacob for his first place awards at the Westchester Radio Aero Modelers show February 22-24, 2008. Karl's ability to design such a beautiful and technologically efficient plane connects well to Daniel Pink's A Whole New Mind. Pink calls for the need to combine good design with new technologies. I can't think of a better example than Karl's plane. Karl won first place in both W. W. I classification and overall "Best of Planes".
